THIRD PRACTICE!

At this time I think that I improved a Little bit more because I felt more confident since I got in the classroom, I talked to some students, I prepared everything I was going to use and I started my class on time. I took some sentence strips for the students to work in groups, but unfortunately they took more time to make them than the time I expected. Even though, they are in an intermediate level, there are some basic things that are still hard for them. After that I tried to put the listening but it did not work, so I had to read the conversation and they were repeating after me.
They roled play the situation I asked the to do and it was really funny. I made them work in pairs on some worksheets, but they were not able to finish, so the teacher worked on that with them at the end of my class.
Almost everythng went the way I expected, I think there are still some things that I have to improve such as: monitor the time, activities, etc. I hope to improve them in my next practices with basic and advanced level.

This was a big challenge for me but it was also a good experience inside the university.

Second class!!

When I gave this class, everything was different, I prepared myself more in order to feel self confident. I tried to monitor the time, to monitor the students and help the while they were working on some activities I gave them. I used a Little bit more the whiteboard, I tried to look for better activities. I liked that my grade was higher and it means that I improved a lot and the teacher told me about it. I like the way the students focus on the class. There are some students that learn faster tan the others and I started to know them that day.
I think that my class was so much better even though I could not finish with them the last topic and the teacher continued working on it.

At this time I felt more confident and hapy giving my class. I guess what I have to improve is the time I give to the activities.

FIRST PRACTICE

This first practice was a big challenge for me because I was going to be in front of many students and I had to be prepared with the topic and everything for my class. I was a Little nervous because I did not know the type of students I was going to have in the classroom and neither the way that the teacher was going to evaluate my class. I tried to prepare everything as posible for my class,
When I was in the classroom, I wrote the objective on the whiteboard, pasted the material for the warm up and I tried to do everything good. Of course that because I was nervous I did not know what to do while the students were working or I was thinking about the time I gave them if it was considerable or not, a lot of things came to my mind at that time.
I really liked that group because even though they do not know much they participate in every activity and give their opinions when I asked them something. They are  a very respectful group. Almost everything went well in my class, there were some details that I had to improved like how to monitor my time, prepare better actvities and monitor the students while they are working.

Even though it was my first class, I liked it.
